My entire life I have been surrounded by animals. Playing with my dog when I would be home, running after chickens when I would be at my great- grandma's, inspecting insects when I would be out in the park- these are my childhood memories. "Why are there so many homeless dogs and cats?", "Why is wearing somebody's skin considered luxurious?", "What rights do we have to take someone's life away for food?" "What happens to all the rats in testing labs?". Such thought-provoking questions started bothering me as I grew older. And now, here I am- a proud animal rights activist, vegetarian writing this blog to spread the word about such issues. 
ps. little did I know that my beloved chicken would end up in MY soup 3 month later.
